Some photos from the week the RNC was in St. Paul - from a bunch of shows around town that were mostly organized to counter the message coming out of the convention - some quietly & others, not so much.
On Labor Day, the big concert was at Harriet Island, across the river from the convention where Tom Morello (The Nightwatchman), Billy Bragg, Alison Moorer, Steve Earle, Mos Def, The Pharcyde and Atmosphere played.

Then came the Mad Ripple Hootenanny with Jim Walsh, Billy Bragg, Tom Morello, Ike Reilly, Eliza Blue, Jen Markey & Boots Reilly.
Rage Against The Machine & Anti-Flag at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Hootenanny #2 with Jim Walsh, Terry Walsh, Stook!, Brianna Lane, Martin Devaney, Jeaneen Gaultier and, once again, Billy Bragg.
